Description: This was a 2-session in-person workshop series for the 7th-8th grade STEAM class at Horizons K-8 School. In the first session, I taught students about bioplastics and how to cook Alganyl. In the second session, we discussed fast fashion and the need for sustainable clothing and then spent the rest of the time making Alganyl accessories from the Alganyl they cooked in the first session.
